Our experience reports
Uno is a playful and lively fox terrier. Food isn’t just about nutrition for him, he loves his treats. We have already used PLATINUM dry dog food in the dog school to reward him for obeying commands or to motivate him for new tricks. He also loves it when we put them into his food ball, and he has to roll it to release little bits.
We add some of the small juicy portion cups to each order. These are served on special days as “feasts”. Yes, Uno is a little spoiled.
PLATINUM helps with that: we regularly receive our parcel delivered automatically to our home. Always first-class service and quality. And if we postpone our subscription for a few days, the service team is always friendly and helpful. Thank you, PLATINUM!

Before I discovered PLATINUM dog food, I had tried numerous kinds of dog food, but my dog didn’t tolerate any of them. It is only since she started eating PLATINUM dog food that her digestive problems have disappeared. Whether it’s wet or dry, and whatever the flavour,
Nala loves it all,
especially the snacks ;)

Yoshi has been eating PLATINUM dry dog food since he was a puppy. He has always tolerated it very well. As Yoshi is a very active dog, he has not always eaten. For about a year now, we’ve also fed him wet food.
He loves this combination so much,
that he often jumps right onto his bowl.
Yoshi eats all the flavours, but I think his absolute favourite is chicken.

Luke has had stomach problems since he was a puppy. Even changing over to well-known food types has not helped. I heard about PLATINUM from a friend, but I was very sceptical initially. As with all recommendations, I did some thorough research first, but I was quickly convinced by the many positive customer reviews and the excellent composition of the food. Ordering and delivery were both very quick. I immediately switched Luke to PLATINUM and after 4 days he was feeling better than ever.
No more stomach problems
and he was much better in general. I definitely won’t change again, and my next dog will also get PLATINUM.

I have had only positive experiences with your food with my Labrador. He has a sensitive stomach but so far, he has tolerated your food well.
You have helped him to become symptom-free.
So, thank you.

FAQ
The timing of the change from puppy food to adult food depends (among other things) on the expected size and breed of your dog.
Small breeds (such as Dachshunds and Pugs) can be given puppy food up to 12 months of age. Medium-sized dogs (e.g. Australian Shepherds, Border Collies) can usually switch to adult food after they have finished teething (approx. 6 months of age), while large breeds (e.g. Bernese Mountain Dogs, Rhodesian Ridgebacks) can be fed adult food from the age of 4 months.
If you would like a customised solution for your dog, please contact our customer service team at info@platinum.co.uk or call our free service number: 0800 158 80 25
If an earlier changeover to an adult food is made, we recommend following the feeding recommendations for puppies until they are 12 months old in order to ensure an adequate supply of nutrients with optimum (and not maximum) growth rates. You can also get more information on optimal feeding via our digital feed advisor.
Compared to conventional dry food, which is mainly made from meat meal, dog food prepared with FSG requires at least 70% fresh meat (muscle meat) to make PLATINUM dry food. There is a big difference between meat meal and fresh meat. Compared to fresh meat, meat meal is significantly inferior, as it is only produced after repeated heating under high pressure. As a result, meat meal has fewer nutrients, a higher ash content and lower protein digestibility than fresh meat. We know from cooking that meat juices and meat fat are what make a roast dinner a treat — which is why we don't prepare our Sunday roast with meat meal. Thanks to the process of cooking with FSG, PLATINUM dry food is completely free from attractants, flavourings, colourings, odours, and flavour enhancers.
No, you can rely on the fact that no animal experiments are done for the product development and production of our food and care products - neither by us, nor by any other third party.
To avoid causing problems in the puppy learning to produce the important substances contained in the extract on its own, they should not be supplied in the food in the first 3 months.
