Meaty Biscuits with Rye and Oats

100 g tender oat flakes
210 g wholemeal rye flour
1 tbsp. oliveoil
1 egg

Preparation

Step 1

Mix PLATINUM Menu and the tender oat flakes together with a fork to form a dough. Then fold in the egg and olive oil and mix with the wholemeal rye flour. Finally, knead the dough well.

Step 2 for all the recipes

Wrap the dough in cling film and place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.

Knead the dough again, divide into equal-sized pieces and form rolls, each about 10 cm long. Then shape the ends to create small bones. If you want to cut out the biscuits, we recommend dusting the work surface, rolling pin and dough generously with corn flour, potato flour, buckwheat flour or wholemeal rye flour to roll them out. First flatten the dough with your hands and then roll out to a thickness of approx. 8 mm and cut out the biscuits with the desired shapes. If gluten-free flour is used, the dough will not be as sticky. Place the biscuits on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

Preheat the oven to 160 °C and bake for 35 to 45 minutes. Important: the meatless banana yoghurt biscuits only need about 20 minutes in the oven. Check on the dog biscuits occasionally to make sure they don’t turn too dark in colour. You should let the dog biscuits cool down sufficiently before tasting them. If they stay in the oven overnight, they are really crispy the next day.

The benefits of PLATINUM dog food

  • PLATINUM uses a unique preparation method called FSG, which offers numerous advantages compared to conventional dog food.
  • Dog food prepared with FSG is gently cooked only in its own meat juice and is therefore nutrient-rich like BARF, excellent for building muscles and also extra tasty for your dog.
  • With at least 70% fresh meat in the dry dog food and 83% fresh meat or fresh fish in the wet dog food, PLATINUM places great value on a composition of the food that is adapted to the needs of dogs.
  • The declaration and composition of dog food prepared with FSG is tested regularly and independently  by ELAB Analytik GmbH (formerly TÜV SÜD ELAB) - for canine health protection.
  • PLATINUM is generally very well accepted by dogs of all breeds and ages. Even four-legged friends with sensitive digestion or intolerances usually tolerate PLATINUM dog food well.
  • All products are free of soya, GMOs and gluten. In addition, no flavour enhancers, attractants, odourants or colourings are used.
  • Over 2,000 positive customer reviews at Trusted Shops speak for themselves!
